Service terms
One screenplay, one check
A purchase covers one automated analysis of one uploaded draft, up to 130 screenplay pages plus a title page. Fountain and Final Draft lengths are estimated. Revised drafts require a new purchase. Supported uploads are text-based PDF, Fountain and Final Draft .fdx, up to 10 MB.
The checklist and score
Pro Check applies Trevor Mayes’s submission standards. Each violated checklist item receives one red X and one strike, with up to 10 representative examples listed underneath. This identifies patterns and does not provide exhaustive proofreading. The score is the percentage of assessed checks that pass. Not-applicable and unassessed checks are excluded. The checklist and price are fixed for your order at upload; later admin changes do not rewrite your order.
Scope and limitations
The report is an automated assessment, not a personal reading or endorsement by Trevor. It may miss issues or flag passages you intentionally wrote that way. Review suggestions in the context of your screenplay. A high score is not a guarantee of creative quality, representation, sale or production. Some formatting checks require information your file format may not preserve.
Payment and processing
The amount shown at checkout is payable in US dollars through PayPal. Processing begins after payment verification. Estimates vary with script length, provider availability and the number of findings. There is no manual approval step for completed API reports.
Failures and support
If processing fails, you may retry the same order without a second payment while the script is retained. If the service cannot deliver the purchased report, contact trevor@scriptwrecked.com for resolution or a refund. Do not submit a second payment to recover a failed job.
Your permission
Upload only a script you own or have permission to submit. You authorize the processing needed to deliver the report. You retain ownership of your work.
Download and retention
Download your report within 30 days of completion. Uploaded scripts and extracted text expire after 14 days. See the privacy page for details.
Early-bird pricing
The early-bird price applies while displayed at checkout. The owner may change or end the promotion for future orders. Pro Check is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
